flank steak salad with sesame dressing

i LOVE sesame dressing. it's so delicious and makes my mouth so happy. it went well with this spinach salad, tender steak, crunchy lo mein noodles and spicy red onion. this salad would be equally good with chicken. the flavorful sesame dressing is great as a marinade as well.
ingredients:
- 1/2 pound leftover grilled flank steak -
- 1 bag of spinach -
- 1/2 red onion -
- - for dressing
- 1/2 cup canola oil -
- 1/4 cup sesame oil -
- 1 lime - juiced
- 2 tablespoons sugar -
- 1/4 cup soy sauce -
- 2 garlic cloves - grated
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger - grated
- 1 teaspoons sesame seeds -
- - garnish
- 1/4 cup chow mein noodles -
instructions:
- this is a ’3 in 1 meal’ .
- slice leftover flank steak thinly. set aside.
- for the dressing, add all ingredients into a small container. cover with a lid and shake well until combined. store in the refrigerator if not using immediately.
- spread the spinach out on a large serving plate. arrange the steak over top of the spinach along with the red onions. drizzle desired amount of sesame dressing over top. garnish with chow mein noodles.
